{ Alexander Wang x H&M Collaboration } Dress Up Dress Down, Day to Night Mini Lookbook
Alexander Wang x H&M collaboration was a huge hit this fall 2014, with pieces selling out super fast. Luckily for me, I was able to snatch a few clothing and accessories to do a day versus night mini lookbook!
{ this is a Alexander Wang cropped top }
This white on white cropped top may cause difficulties on reading the text, so I layered it over a shark tooth hem black dress so the sheer words is more legible. With the collection being a sport centered theme, the boxing glove keychain is a super cute addition to any bag. I tied up the look with a soccer inspired stripe over the knee socks.

Although most of his pieces catered to a more active look, he had some sexy bodycon pieces, such as this cute logo skirt. One may mistaken it as WAWAWAWA but those that love fashion knows it's saying AW. It hugs the hips to the waist, which easily goes with any cropped top. I matched it up with some body chain and hand jewelry to add in a taste of my personal style. Complete it with an Alexander Wang x H&M water bottle. More photos and info on an upcoming blog post.

{ this is a alexander wang cropped top } AW x H&M Day Look
Alexander Wang x H&M collaboration was a huge hit this fall 2014, with pieces selling out super fast. Luckily for me, I was able to snatch a few clothing and accessories to do a day versus night mini lookbook! I'll be featuring photos from my video's day look outfit in this blog post. Photos are being edited from the night look, which will be blogged when it's ready! ;)
This white on white cropped top may cause difficulties on reading the text, so I layered it over a shark tooth hem black dress so the sheer words is more legible. Which was the main reason why I chose the white over the black - I have no idea how to make the words on the black pop more!
With the collection being a sport centered theme, the boxing glove keychain is a super cute addition to any bag. Since his collection was black on black, my Forever 21 black hardware bag was the perfect carrier! The hand chain gives it a punch I tied up the look with a soccer inspired stripe over the knee socks, to give it a cute girly vibe.

{ lace me up } corset detail trench coat & skirt
A few weeks ago, I attended the Love in NYC Charity Sale event, which is a great idea! Through the sales of second hand (and some new!) clothing, shoes, etc, they generate donations to go to the New York Chinese Sports Association. These money help new immigrants integrate into the society easier and help them in many ways.
They had clothing from casual outerwear, to gowns meant for galas. I picked up two second hand items from Just For You Boutique - an ASOS trench coat and lace bag. Both items were so cute and were exactly what I've been looking for! A lace up jacket and a nice taupe toned bag, so I wondered why when I got there about 3 hours after the event started, it was still there! I guess it's meant to be ;) From another stall, I picked up the black faux fur coat I wore in my Halloween post.
The jacket really reminded me of when I loved lolita and gyaru style, so I dug out my fluffy skirt which luckily was mocha toned, complimenting all the other taupe shades. I realized I don't have any cute, casual booties that matched my new bag! So I stalked around like the cat that I am, and found these super cute ones from Lucky21! I love the strap detail, and the color is beautiful for autumn! It's comfy, but if you're in between half sizes, go with the half size up!

{ forest nymph } colorful print buttoned maxi dress at moon cafe
If you can't tell from my YouTube food review videos, I love desserts & sweets. I have a real bad case of sweet tooth :( and I need to stop!! But I just can't resist the temptation of honey toasts, waffles and lattes, especially from the really cute Moon Cafe. I've been meaning to get around to doing the review on it as my teaser shows, since I haven't (silly me!), for now I'll show you some photos from my second time there! Plus with all this cold weather, I thought'll I'll share a nice warm outfit to brighten up the mood.

My toenails match the dress! hehe |
This dress isn't something I usually buy or wear, but I thought the colors were really beautiful for transitioning from summer to fall, with a hint of both seasons' colors. I love the bohemian feel of the colors, fabrics and style of the dress. To keep it from being too meadow girl like, I tied in some black elements using the thick belt and studded gladiators. Then, throw in a touch of glam with the crystal embedded cuff and necklace.
You can wear the dress two ways - buttoned all the way down for a conservative look, or pair it with shorts and tank top underneath for a middle slit maxi dress. The latter works better for me because I have a wider hip, so dresses with slits always fits better!
The cafe had a very dreamy feeling similar to that of Cafe Bench, but with a more forest feeling. It's also closer to public transportation since no need for a bus! Therefore, it's been a great hangout spot for my friends and me. It was just kind of off when they played Korean music videos but English songs, I thought they should've picked one and stuck to it. The Korean music would've matched since the feeling they gave off was like a K-Drama! Really enjoyed going there for their atmosphere and good tea (and cute latte art).
There was a sign that said, please do not sleep here. So I tried sleeping :P
Jk, I think they meant it for those that likes to lie on the couch and hog it
